Nyobe Inspires

On Pedal for the Planet’s Updates from the Road I read the inspiring story of Nyobe, a young girl who’s just off training wheels, but already is active in defending the climate, happily riding along with her family:

“Pedal for the Planet is Nyobe.  She’s the point.  She’s as much inspiration as I need for the rest of the ride, and maybe for a lot of things after this.”

We’ve been hearing many, many such inspiring stories from Pedal for the Planet; stories of Canadians who want to spread the urgent message about KYOTOplus, our ask to the federal government for real action on climate change.  We’re still looking for riders and volunteers, so get involved!

Here’s where we’re going to be next:

August 22 Saint John to Sussex, NB

August 24 Windsor, ON to  Merlin, ON

August 25 Merlin, ON, to Dutton, ON

August 26 - Fredericton, NB

August 26 - Dutton, ON to London, ON

August 28 - Moncton, NB

August 29 - London, ON, to Stratford, ON

Sunday, August 30 - Stratford, ON, to Kitchener, ON

August 31 - Edmundston, NB to Cabano, QC

August 31  Kitchener, ON, to Guelph, ON

As we ride through these areas we’ll be dropping in on the local MPs, asking them to sign the Politician’s Pledge - help us by sending them a letter to ask them to support KYOTOplus!
